Nuclear Explosions

February 25th, 2009 by Sadye

I may not be a scientist,

Emotions overwhelm her,

They don’t have cures for deadly diseases,

Slither through her veins,

The scroll is tattered and torn at the edges,

Seep through her skin,

Have they found it yet?

Clouds slip in front,

Nuclear explosions going off in the distance,

Calmness, delight.
