Happiness

February 25th, 2009 by Michael

Death marches over the field of metal and rubble,

View of destruction and corruption in every angle.

Soft silky sand is stained with the blood of the willed,

Minutes ago the gun shots, bombs, explosions, screams, cries of help filled the air.

They thought they were the superiors of the human race,

Grits and grinds of teeth, shaking legs, nervousness, loss of profit,

Greed.

The battle was merely funded and command by a circle of businessmen,

Their thoughts and opinion were like the words of god.

Meaningless, nothing.

After the Rain

February 25th, 2009 by Judy

There was the sparkling shine on street pavement,
Like the sun on a Monday morning.
After the rain
The trees were shining with joy,
Their leaves were nice and pure.
After the rain
It was a new beginning,
After the rain.
Everythng was new
After the rain

Kayla- List poem

February 25th, 2009 by kayla

Under my bed the monsters prowl and hunt and play

Under my bed clouds of dust float around blowing gusts of filthy air

Under my bed are stories to be found

Under my bed the adventures are ready to be embarked on

Under my bed lay dark mysteries

A vast wonderland

Under my bed

February 25th, 2009 by Dustin

Under my bed is something scary,

Its almost reminds me of Uncle Larry,

I fear every night of going to sleep

Cause if I do it will grab my feet,

It will drag me under with its hand that is vile

And then escape will soon be futile,

It will slowly consume me,

Under the bed,

And then I fear I will be dead

I’m 6 years old my name is Ted

And until I’m older I will fear what’s under the bed.

Change

February 25th, 2009 by tamara

As time fly’s by

Brutal past

Is it worth it

New beginnings

Questions in need of answers

The tears, the worries

Crushed or up-lifting

At a high frozen speed

Like a staircase

Broken hearts

Pain is Permanent

February 25th, 2009 by Ethan

 Death by blade

Sharp dark blood spilled hopelessly

Death followed pain…

Laughing with Scrunchies

February 25th, 2009 by Sadye

Laughing with scrunchies,

Before the flamingo goes cordless,

Jiggle quite fast.

Untitled

February 25th, 2009 by Michelle

A sunny day,
I can read the periodic table,
Anger, hatred,
But why can’t I make one?
Joy, Happiness,
Containing a diary of days from back too far to count,
A glimmer of hope,
Maybe I can,
Shadows being created,
BOOM BOOM!

Collaborative By Maddy and Ashley

February 25th, 2009 by Ashley

Scientific is a word,

It feels like I just got stabbed in the heart.

And in science we learn about

This pain is tearing me apart

About the world and how it works

I’ve been so depressed

How the human body works

Friends try to comfort me

What mammals are

Please help me from the dreadful sorrow!

what my mother told me by kyla

February 25th, 2009 by ksmutny

I’m not yelling

I’m just raising my voice

I’m not crying

I’m just sick

I’m not mad

I’m just disappointed

I’m not overreacting

I’m just worried

I’m not mean

I just love you
